| | welp. here i am with two of my favorite sisters. sitting outside my house. it's such a pleasant evening. the stars are out. the moon is high. the air is calm. the mosquitoes are not so very bad. the bench is comfy..(sorta) ... the house is locked. BUT! the garage was open. as was the pineapple, the juice, the cookies, and ... well.... the cake. briefly. *sniff* oh the cake. we shall mourn its passing. and no, we did not eat it. alas. it died a tragic death .. with a stake through the heart! ... ok not really. but it did get squish-ed on the garage floor. there may or may not have been a slight mishap with a certain ten-year-old who was trying to transport it. we will never know. what we *do* know is that it is a huge mess to clean up cake and broken cake dish on a garage floor with your fingers. but it's all good. but you can't lick your fingers, due to glass.
so far we have learned:
The turkey didn't eat Mr. Bean
Juice is good out of a bottle
Pineapple is best fresh out of the can
You can eat Italian Ice with your fingers and lips only
Always get the macaroni that have free snacks attached to the box. like oreos. then leave the macaroni in the garage pantry.
Always carry your computer and plug for quick and easy entertainment
Never eat "freezerburnt" ice cream sandwiches. even though they look good, they taste nasty
When mom says she wants to run down the battery on the camera, stop her. you never know when it would be really fun to have a fully-charged video camera on hand.
Never let Grace steal your food. you'll never see it again.
All spit is created equal when you're drinking from the same juice bottle
Its ok to sit out late at night and pass around the bottle of the ...uh.. "fruit of the vine"
Even Nancy Drew is a little scary while sitting ouside in the dark (but we learned from Nancy that bad guys get hungry too)
When we have a party on the front porch Jackson will go to great lengths to join in
"Chocolate Dog" is not a nice smell at all
A mosquito in the throat and nose is not pleasant
ok we want to get back to our movie now. more updates later perhaps. :)
